A Milestone Night In The Bronx
By now, you all know the Yankees have had many great baseball players suit up in pinstripes. This years team is no different.
While we can talk about the terrific last minute start by Dustin Moseley, I'd rather take a look at some of the milestones that were set by a trio of current great Yankees players.
The milestones continue to mount for Yankees shortstop and captain Derek Jeter. It almost se...

New York Yankees: Post Boston Red Sox Series Thoughts
Long time American League East rivals, the New York Yankees and Boston Red Sox battled it out in a three game series in Fenway Park this weekend. All three games were blow outs as the Yankees took two of three from Boston.
The Yankees are now 21-9 on the season and sit a half game behind the Tampa Bay Rays in the division. New York has won eight of its last ten games and is 11-7 on the road.

Double G Sports Loses Again, Falls In The Basement
My Double G Sports fantasy baseball team which is competing in the Battle of the Blogs continues to struggle and has hit a new low. I am now officially in last place in the Willie Mays Division and am ranked 13th out of 20 teams.

This past week I lost to Babes Love Baseball by a score of 13-6-1. It was a team wide struggle as my team had a combined .268 average for the week and my pitching staff...

Derek Jeter: The New Active Hits Leader
Yankees shortstop Derek Jeter reached another milestone this past weekend, and did so quietly. Not much mention was made to baseball's poster boy after he took over the active hits lead.

Ken Griffey Jr. already had ...

Battle of the Blogs Update: Double G Sports squeaks past Lady Loves Pinstripes
Battle of the Blogs Fantasy Baseball.
Double G Sports took the overall win against Lady Loves Pinstripes but it was a nail bitter. For most of the week, Double G Sports had a commanding lead over the fellow Yankees fan. As the week went on however, Lady Loves Pinstripes closed the gap and caused Double G Sports to get nervous over the weekend.
I eventually secured the 10-9-1 win over Lady Loves P...

Yankees, Game 1: The Good, The Bad, The Ugly
The Yankees began the season last night in Boston against the Red Sox. The site at Fenway was enough to make any Yankees fan sick and no I am not talking about the game itself. The festivities were enough. From our little boy Pedro Martinez throwing out the first pitch, to trader Ronan Tynan singing God Bless America, to Neil Diamond singing Sweet Caroline, it was a little much for someone with a ... Guest Bloggers debate Joba vs Hughes
The battle for the 5th starting spot on the Yankees is up for grabs this spring. While in all reality there are about five players in contention, many believe it will come down to either Joba Chamberlain or Phil Hughes, with the "loser" moving to the bullpen.

I asked a couple friends of Double G Sports to guest blog and give their side of the battle. Daniel Moroz is the blog host at Camden Crazie...

They're Back!! Pitchers and Catchers Report to Tampa for the Yankees
